Defense & Safety
In response to contamination by persistent toxic agents, operational staff are favoring standoff surface detection technologies, which can minimize the risks of cross-contamination.
Bertin Technologies has developed a standoff surface detection equipment (up to 5 meters) for use on chemical and biological warfare agents, which incorporate LIBS and LIF (Laser-Induced Fluorescence) technologies. It is therefore possible to detect GA, GB, GD, GF, VX, L, HN nerve agents, etc. and biological agents in real time.
The system combines a new approach of data fusion which improves the selectivity of the analysis.
